New Location starting Jan 1, 2020
Good day all,
I am excited to announce the next step for Healing Minds Behavioral Health, PLLC. We are in the process of making the transition of moving into a new office location with an effective date of January 1, 2020!
Though I (Alex) have held licensure a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the past 3 years, I recently launched Healing Minds Behavioral on September 15 of this year (2019). In my current location on 12274 Bandera Rd, I was given an opportunity to use the office space temporarily by a good friend (thank you Esme!) who is also an LPC. It quickly became evident that I would need my own space as appointment times became tricky to coordinate due to the shared office. It is for this reason that the decision to move was made sooner than the anticipated date, which was originally scheduled to happen later in the new year. I will begin seeing clients at the new location on Sunday, January 6, 2020.
In this new location, which is located inside the Leon Valley Executive Center, I will have my own dedicated, child-centered office. Children will have access to my therapeutic toys, activities, sandtrays, figurines, etc. There is also a private waiting area for families to use just a few steps from my office door, as before.
Needless to say, I am very excited about this new location which will coincide with the start of a new year. This opportunity will allow me to serve more families and expand appointment times as I make the transition into full-time practice in a few months down the road. I look forward to our continued work together and would like to thank you for entrusting me with your child's mental health.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Also, if you use social media, particularly Facebook, make sure to follow the Healing Minds Behavioral Health pages where you will find helpful posts on different topics related to trauma and children's mental health.
Have a blessed holiday season; best wishes to you and your family.
