Children with ADHD or autism often work extra hard to manage emotions, focus and friendships. Counseling helps them build skills and confidence, and helps parents feel more equipped at home.
Counseling does not try to change who your child is. It focuses on the skills and support that make daily life easier.
Frustration, meltdowns or anxiety that are hard to calm down from.
Getting started on tasks, staying organized and finishing what they start.
Understanding social cues, making friends and handling conflict with peers.
Homework battles, low confidence about school, or worry before the school day.
Handling changes in routine, new places or unexpected plans.
Feeling different, frustrated or down about themselves.
Sessions are hands-on and age-appropriate, and may include play, practice and time with parents.
